In the US today, there are
160 Indian casinos that account for $25 billion in revenue. Indian
casinos are regulated by the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC)
under the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (IGRA), which set rules
defining eligible Indian tribes, their relationship with states,
and requirements for oversight of gambling operations. The
challenges faced by Indian casinos are:
Gambling
revenue is affected by the health of the economy, including the
growth of personal income. Because of high fixed-costs, the
profitability of gambling operations depends on a high volume of
customers.
Companies have large capital
investments in facilities and gaming equipment and usually a large
amount of debt. Gambling companies routinely spend more than 10
percent of annual revenue on capital investments.
Competition from charitable organizations, schools, and churches
hold weekly bingo games, promote raffles, and sponsor casino
nights, and many advertise in gambling publications.
Controlling cash flow - gambling operations result in large inflows of cash,
requiring special controls.

understanding, Computeration offers financial and business
