Introduction
This statement explains your relationship with Computeration and describes how we handle and protect your information. It describes the choices you have.

Information We Collect
We collect information about you so we can serve you and offer products to you. The information includes:

  • Company contact information, such as name, address, and telephone numbers.

  • Company personnel contact information, such as name, e-mail address, and telephone numbers.

  • Accounting product information which you license and use, such as software modules, annual software anniversary date, and annual software maintenance plans.

  • Information which you provide to us, such as how you conduct business, create transactions, report financial information, and communicate electronically with your bank.

  • Information which others provide to us, such as Microsoft or other software developers advising us of your software cost and anniversary date.

Information Which We may Have Access to on Your Systems

  • Accounting product setup information including fiscal periods, accounts, customers, vendors, inventory items, and employees.

  • Account, customer, vendor, and inventory balance information and reports.

  • Security information such as logins, passwords, security access, and user activity tracking.

We call the information which we collect or have access to on your systems “client data.”

Protecting Client Data
The only persons who are authorized to have access to client data are those who need it to do their jobs. They must protect it and keep it confidential. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect client data.

Reasons Why Information is Shared
We may share the client data described above with other companies that perform related services for you on your behalf. Prior to our sharing your data, we will advise you and request your consent. Only the minimum amount of client data required to perform services for you will be shared.

We may share your company or employee contact information so that we can notify you of products or services which we think will be of value to you. We will not disclose or sell your company’s or employee’s contact information to others wishing to notify or contact you about their products or services.

We may disclose client data as required by law, for example, to law enforcement officials, in response to subpoenas, to regulators, or to prevent fraud.

Your Choices
You may choose to restrict the information you have given us by limiting the amount of information you provide to us and advising us that you do not want the information shared with other companies that provide related software or services to you.

You may tell us how and how often you want to be contacted.

You may restrict or indicate who you do not want to be contacted. We call this “opting out.” You may tell us you want to opt out by calling, writing, or e-mailing us.
