Accounting product information which you license and use, such as software modules, annual software anniversary date, and annual software
maintenance plans.
Information which you provide to us, such as how you conduct business, create transactions, report financial information, and communicate
electronically with your bank.
Information which others provide to us, such as Microsoft or other software developers advising us of your software cost and anniversary
date.
Information Which We may Have Access to on Your
Systems
Accounting product setup information including fiscal periods,
accounts, customers, vendors, inventory items, and employees.
Account, customer, vendor, and inventory balance information and
reports.
Security information such as logins, passwords, security access, and
user activity tracking.
We call the information which we collect or have access to on your
systems “client data.”
Protecting Client Data
The only persons who are authorized to have access to client data are
those who need it to do their jobs. They must protect it and keep it
confidential. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural
safeguards to protect client data.
Reasons Why Information is Shared
We may share the client data described above with other companies that
perform related services for you on your behalf. Prior to our sharing
your data, we will advise you and request your consent. Only the minimum
amount of client data required to perform services for you will be
shared.
We may share your company or employee contact information so that we can
notify you of products or services which we think will be of value to
you. We will not disclose or sell your company’s or employee’s contact
information to others wishing to notify or contact you about their
products or services.
We may disclose client data as required by law, for example, to law
enforcement officials, in response to subpoenas, to regulators, or to
prevent fraud.
Your Choices
You may choose to restrict the information you have given us by limiting
the amount of information you provide to us and advising us that you do
not want the information shared with other companies that provide
related software or services to you.
You may tell us how and how often you want to be contacted.
You may restrict or indicate who you do not want to be contacted. We
call this “opting out.” You may tell us you want to opt out by calling,
